Lima, October 2026 – With more than three decades of experience managing complex logistics operations and implementing technology solutions, DINET announces the launch of its new SaaS business unit. This initiative transforms the company's proven operational and technological expertise into software products designed for businesses that manage their own logistics operations.
DINET aims to position itself as a technology solutions provider through its WMSD (Warehouse Management System DINET) and TMSD (Transportation Management System DINET) platforms. Developed based on more than 20 years of hands-on experience across multiple industries in the region, these systems are designed to address real-world logistics challenges.
"For years, we have developed technology to address specific needs within our own operations. Building on that experience, we identified an opportunity to transform proven solutions into technology products that create value for other businesses. We understand logistics from the inside out. We do not develop technology based solely on theory or functional specifications, but rather on our experience operating, learning, and solving real-world challenges," stated Esteban Vargas, General Manager of DINET.
Solutions Designed to Address Real Operational Challenges
DINET's technology solutions are built around specific operational processes. Their cloud-based architecture enables companies to access these systems without significant investments in IT infrastructure. Businesses can use the platforms through an internet connection and scale their capabilities according to their operational needs.
- WMSD: Enables structured and traceable warehouse management processes, including receiving, logistics unit management, directed putaway, picking, cross-docking, inventory status control, traceability, dispatch, and integration with other systems. It is designed for organizations seeking to overcome the limitations of basic tools or restricted functionalities, enabling greater operational control and more informed, efficient decision-making. The platform also addresses challenges such as limited visibility, inefficiencies resulting from manual processes, and the complexity of managing a wide variety of products with different attributes.
- TMSD: Addresses transportation and distribution challenges through capabilities for delivery planning, execution, and monitoring, as well as traceability, document management, and transportation cost control. The platform provides timely operational information to support better decision-making throughout the delivery process.
Jessica Huamán, IT and Digital Transformation Manager at DINET, emphasized: “Our main differentiator is that we do more than develop technology. We understand how to implement it within operations to deliver the results businesses need. Digitalization helps structure processes, reduce manual activities, and improve traceability. In logistics, the value does not lie in digitalization for its own sake, but in understanding how processes actually work, where operational constraints exist, and what information each role needs to perform effectively. We aim to align each company's processes with industry best practices and the specific requirements of its sector. To achieve this, we include business consulting as an integral part of our value proposition.”
A Practical Value Proposition and Future Growth
DINET's vision is to continue transforming logistics expertise into scalable technology products that deliver measurable business value. The company aims to develop its SaaS business unit into a dedicated B2B software business, progressively strengthening its product portfolio, implementation capabilities, and overall value proposition.
During the initial phase, DINET will focus on consolidating its solutions, driving adoption, and establishing a repeatable and scalable business model. Looking ahead, the company sees significant opportunities to extend these capabilities to more businesses in Peru and gradually expand into other Latin American markets.
"Logistics is constantly evolving in terms of customers, channels, volumes, integrations, service levels, and visibility requirements. Therefore, a technology solution cannot remain static. Our operational experience has taught us how to manage exceptions, maintain traceability, enable integrations, and design solutions that evolve reliably over time, transforming every lesson learned into reusable capabilities for different customers," explained Jessica Huamán.
To demonstrate the practical applications of its solutions, DINET offers an interactive showroom within its own logistics operations. This space allows companies to experience the impact and capabilities of DINET's systems in real operational environments across various industries.
Through this hands-on experience, businesses can explore how DINET supports its customers in strengthening, optimizing, and innovating their logistics management processes in a sustainable manner.
